The beatification ceremony of Pope John Paul II will be held on May 1. Pope John Paul’s coffin was exhumed from the crypts below St. Peter’s Basilica on Friday. His body will be kept in front of the main altar of St. Peter’s Basilica during the beatification ceremony. .
